JoonWoo Lee is an architecture student focusing on multidisciplinary fields such as architecture, visualization, and computing.
During his elementary and middle school years, he was an expert in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and actively participated in various communities, challenging the conventional usage through VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). Through this process, he realized the importance of the connection between design and computer software, sparking his interest in the intersection of multidisciplinary fields.
His interest in a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, science, art, humanities, and philosophy, led him to seek connections and intersections between different disciplines. In high school, he showed exceptional abilities in population genetics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, particularly in Hardy-Weinberg principle, conducting various research projects.
This multidisciplinary integration led to his interest in architecture, a composite field of design, mathematics, science, and humanities.
Alongside his architectural studies, he leads and participates in various projects both inside and outside of school. He consistently challenges new areas such as computational design, visualization, modeling, game engines, and extended reality, carrying out various related projects domestically and internationally.
Additionally, starting with his experience in the broadcasting club during his elementary and middle school years, he has led the planning and management of various projects, from small-scale to large-scale initiatives.
